The Upper Palace
In Przerzeczyn Górne (Ober Dirsdorf), in 1860, Frederick Fabian von Pfeil built a beautiful palace with a veranda overlooking the Ślęza River valley. Furthermore, the palace was situated in the heart of a picturesque park, which stretched from three majestic plane trees planted at the entrance to the property to avenues of ancient trees by the waterfall. Unfortunately, the palace's history ended with the flames of a fire that broke out several decades ago, contributing to the oblivion of this once-magnificent place. Until…
Winery
...until history met with vision and determination to restore this place to its former glory in a modern setting. A winery with a unique atmosphere and stunning views of the St. Francis vineyard and the Ślęza River valley will be built on the palace's foundations, where guests will be able to savor wine, cheese, and meats from the local terroir.
Forsycja
At the beginning of the 20th century, just beyond the waterfall basin, a guesthouse was built – the Gasthaus zum Deutschen Kaiser – which underwent a thorough renovation before World War II, when functions related to the developing spa were added. In the 1960s, the building, now called Forsycja, became a cultural center, housing a cinema-theater, bringing together residents of Przerzeczyn and the surrounding area. Film screenings, performances, literary meetings, and concerts were held here until an unfortunate accident destroyed part of the building. However, something new was born from this disaster – Forsycja was rebuilt, becoming a new facility for spa guests, offering relaxation in the swimming pool area of the building.
The River Hotel
The boutique The River Hotel will be built in this unique, historic building, providing a relaxing retreat for both tourists and residents of Przerzeczyn-Zdrój. Guests will be able to enjoy the modern swimming pool area with sauna and spa facilities, as well as relax in the café with a terrace overlooking the waterfall. The surrounding river and waterfall, along with the elegant interior design, will create a unique space for relaxation and regeneration.
Jaś
Right next to the waterfall on the Ślęza River, a tiny building was erected on a slate rock. Although it may seem modest and unassuming, it is remembered as the first spa facility in Przerzeczyn-Zdrój, dating back to the early 19th century. "Jaś," as the cottage was called, is also shrouded in local legend. It has it that in the 11th century, the cave on which Jaś was built was inhabited by a hermit named Andrzej Świerad, considered the first Polish physician. In the postwar years, the cottage was converted into a suite, to which, due to its history and picturesque location, only the most important guests were invited.
Cottage
Perched on a rock, nestled against the roar of a waterfall and the calm current of the Ślęza River, the historic "Jaś" opens a new chapter in its story. Once a haven of respite, it now becomes a space for connoisseurs – an elegant cigar lounge and a bar serving selected spirits create an atmosphere conducive to conversation, reflection, and inspiration of the highest order.
Buk
By 1840, the spa's popularity had become so great that it was decided to build another facility – the Kurhaus Hotel, later known as the Buk Hotel – this time in the heart of the resort. A restaurant called the "Namiot" (Tent) was built right next to it, which was renamed the "Mineralna" (Mineral) after the war. For over a century, the Buk served as a hotel and a meeting place for visiting guests and spa patients, even after the spa's privatization.
Tourist House
Buka's centuries-old hotel history will continue in a new guise as the Tourist House. This former place of relaxation and gathering will once again become a space for travelers – this time with a modern hotel, bistro-style restaurant, service outlets, and a small catering facility. In the heart of the Przerzeczyn-Zdrój SPA Resort, tradition will merge with modernity, creating a pleasant place for relaxation, enjoyment, and encounters.
Cis
On a small hill, surrounded by the greenery of the adjacent park, just behind the Beech tree, stands the historic Logierhaus, a small guesthouse where visitors stayed. After the war, the building was taken over by the spa management, but in the 1990s it returned to its original function of welcoming guests, this time under a new name – Cis.
Park Residence
A former guesthouse is opening a new chapter as Rezydencja Parkowa (Park Residence). A place that has welcomed guests since the 19th century is now a space designed for families and shared relaxation. The comfortable apartments for rent will be complemented by a welcoming common area – perfect for reading, playing board games together, or watching movies in private. Rezydencja Parkowa will combine the tranquility of nature, the warmth of a homely atmosphere, and the history of a place that has always served hospitality.
Akacja
In 1827, just a few years after the first documented health-promoting properties of the local medicinal waters, the building known today as the Akacja Sanatorium, formerly known as the Bade-Haus, was built. At the time, it was one of the first natural medicine facilities in Lower Silesia, attracting guests not only for its health benefits and treatments, but also for its climate and beautiful surroundings. Over the course of two centuries, the sanatorium underwent changes not only in medical technologies and standards of stay, but also in the social and economic context in which the facility operated. However, the unique properties of the local mineral waters, the spa-like microclimate, and the picturesque location near the park, the Ślęza River, and the Dzierżoniów Hills remained unchanged.
Thalgo SPA House
Today, Akacja is not only a testament to the spa's over two hundred years of history, but also a place that will soon gain a new identity – becoming the heart of the renovated Przerzeczyn-Zdrój SPA Resort. Transformed into the Thalgo House, it will combine the region's healing heritage with a modern philosophy of a holistic approach to health, beauty, and well-being. The new incarnation is not only a continuation of the balneological tradition but also a development into a modern medical and beauty spa – inspired by the French approach to the care and balance of body and mind. Thanks to its partnership with the renowned Thalgo brand, the Thalgo House will offer patients and guests the highest standard of cosmetic, regenerative, and therapeutic treatments based on natural ingredients and innovative technologies.
The Lower Palace
This small yet charming palace, located in the former Przerzeczyn Dolne (Nieder Dirsdorf), was built in 1906 by Count Gunter von Pfeil, who decided to build a new villa on the site of an old 17th-century palace. The inspiration for the change came from the ever-popular English style, whose romantic character is also evident in the beautiful park surrounding the palace.
Lower Palace Tomorrow
The current park and palace complex includes a complete revitalization of both the building and the surrounding greenery. The uniqueness of this place will be demonstrated by its blend of culture and nature, and modernity and history. A place inviting us to experience art in the Artist's House, to relax with a cup of coffee in the palace café, and also offering a space for relaxation of the highest standard in the palace apartments. The surrounding greenery, full of colorful flowers and herbs, romantic paths, and atmospheric lighting, will provide a space for relaxation and the celebration of important life moments.
